Wix Designer Tip: Donation Forms on Wix

As a Wix Designer, I often add Donation Forms on Wix websites for my non-profit and organization clients.

Oct 2024 Update: I just heard about a new donation tool for non-profits, zeffy.com which does not have any fees! I'm going to have to try this one out, but wanted to share it here.

Donorbox.org is a great fundraising form builder that integrates seamlessly into Wix websites (and most other website platforms like Wordpress or Squarespace, for that matter.) See how it works below:

It even has multiple page forms so it's easy for the user to digest and fill out without feeling overhwelmed with a long scrolling form. I also like that it allows for my clients to setup donation amounts, or custom amounts, as well as one-time, weekly, monthly recurring donations, which is great for non-profits fundraising abilities!

They're pricing may change, but as of May 2023, here's their current pricing – there are no ongoing monthly fees for their Standard plan, so you only pay when a donation is made. Their fee structure on their Standard Plan is 1.75% Platform Fee plus the credit card transaction fees of 1.99% + 49¢ per transaction when a donation is made. Not free, but it's a pretty nice system that makes donations easy to collect on an ongoing basis on websites. And, if you are on their standard plan, you only pay when you get donations – which is nice as there are no ongoing monthly fees.
