How to add Youtube Shorts to Wix

Wix doesn't natively support YouTube Shorts (hopefully it will soon, help speed it up and vote for this feature here).

But until then, here's the simplest workaround:

1. Get the video ID rom the sharing link: https://youtube.com/shorts/xxxxxxxxxx
   

2. Copy just the "xxxxxxx" (the video ID)
   

3. Add "xxxxxxx" after this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

   Here's an example of the final link to use to embed the video on Wix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxx

It does show it in the horizontal format, but this is a very simple way to add a YouTube shorts video to a Wix website, blog post or the Wix Video player. Here's an example from one of my client's video shorts from YouTube:

YouTube's Shorts are somewhat new, YouTube automatically makes any video under 3 minutes a "short."
