If you want to work with an artist who can use AI in helping create graphics, reach out for a free estimate. I am a REAL HUMAN artist, and while I hand-illustrate many graphics for most of my client projects, I also use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create or enhance illustrations using AI tools. AI is just the latest tool that helps graphic designers and artists like myself customize my illustrations in many different ways, including colorizing, changing the style, making modifications or enhancing areas of the illustration.

Nothing beats the originality and realness of human-artists' work, but using AI to develop graphics for business use is quickly becoming the norm. I don't use AI for every project... in fact, I still custom design most of my clients' projects without the use of AI. I am happy to work completely without using AI at all for clients who prefer it (I totally get this request, considering the environmental impacts and potential copyright issues of AI!). But I'm also a realist and I know that just like computers and design software, AI is another tool that designers and illustrators like myself can embrace to continue doing business in this ever-changing and demanding modern world. I never use AI solely to create my client's design projects, but I do use it occasionally as a tool, especially in Adobe Photoshop which has a lot of AI features built in.

I specialize in pen and ink and watercolor illustrations, but with AI tools like in Adobe's Photoshop and Illustrator, hand created illustrations can be customized fully to reflect any vision.

I also offer infographic design for many clients, which are usually a combination of hand-drawn illustrations along wtih vector-illustrations and text so they can be printed, enlarged and shared across all devices. AI can quickly pump out "infographics" but they are often filled with fake text, wrong data, and confusing designs. It's best to work with a human designer to create infographics so they can be accurate, polished and useful for your customers and viewers.

This sign illustration above was created for a garden sign that I designed for a landscape design company using Adobe's AI tools to help paint and colorize my combined original hand-drawn illustrations. I used Adobe's suite of tools for adding in editable text bubbles, titles, and other features to the client's specifications.

What is an AI Artist?

An AI artist is a person who uses artificial intelligence tools, such as text-to-image generators, diffusion models, Adobe Photoshop AI tools, and other AI tools to create, modify, or enhance creative works. I don't consider myself to be soley an AI artist because I don't just offer AI art creation, I AM a real human artist so I can use all of the tools and skills that I have including hand-drawing and painting to create illustrations, poster or flyer designs, social media graphics and infographics that are perfect for your needs.
