Best Nonprofit Website Design - for FANS of Washington Park

We’re proud to have launched a new nonprofit website in May 2026 for Friends and Neighbors (FANS) of Washington Park. This dedicated organization supports the park through donations that fund meaningful additions and improvements, including playground equipment, bike parking and repair stations, flower bulbs, native plants, trees, and shrubs. FANS also brings the community together through programming such as Audubon Society bird walks, guided tree tours, educational lectures on pollinator gardens and native plants, and tours of the City Park Greenhouse. The new website features an event calendar with registration, photo galleries, community resources, a flippable tree guide, a Pollinator Corridor map, and more. Built on Wix, the site gives staff and volunteers an easy-to-use platform to manage and update content—an upgrade from their previous WordPress site. It’s also fully optimized for mobile, making it easy for visitors to explore park news and sign up for events on the go. Visit the site at www.fanswashingtonpark.org.
