Wix versus Squarepace

 

Having worked in both Wix and Squarespace (amongst other CMS systems like Wordpress, Joomla, Expression Engine, etc), I find that Wix is the king in ease of use and customization. I have worked on several Squarepace websites, and the system is difficult to use – even finding out where to edit the homepage can be problematic! The Squarespace CMS is cumbersome and difficult to navigate to edit as desired, and if you want to change the design, unless you are an expert in CSS styling, forget about it.  Where in Wix you can drag and drop images, text or shapes wherever you want on a page, in Squarespace it's hard to even find out how to insert an image into your page, much less control it's position. If you're looking for a simple, easy to use WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) website editing system, then check out Wix.
