Wix Graphic Designer
I am a Graphic Designer and Website Designer, and I love designing websites using the Wix platform as it's easy to use and has lots of great built-in features that work great for most small businesses. Wix is also good for smaller budgets, as it doesn't require a lot of costly custom programming or CSS creation, cutting down on initial development costs.
As a Wix Graphic Designer, I work with people and businesses to design custom Wix website concepts, where I incorporate any desired logos, colors, images and custom graphics and icons. I'll work with the client to finalize a concept, by mixing and adjusting the design as desired. Once the homepage design is approved, I work on designing the rest of the subpages and will review with client for suggestions and feedback to finalize. Once all is ready, I will handle the launch of the website, taking care of everything needed to set up the domain (whether it's registered at Wix or elsewhere, such as GoDaddy or Network Solutions).
WIX TRAINING:
Upon launch (or prior to launch), I train my clients on how to use their websites going forward – we will review editing pages, adding pages, writing blogs, writing for SEO (search engine optimization), and any specific questions that come up. So basically I hand you "the keys" to start using your professionally designed Wix website to help build your web presence over time. My clients find that Wix is super easy to use, especially with a little training as I provide lots of quick tips and answers to common questions. And, if they want some additional graphic design help down the road, I'm always happy to work with clients on design updates and additions to their existing websites.
GRAPHIC DESIGN:
I also offer a variety of graphic design services, so if your business needs a logo design, brochure design, book design, annual report design, business cards or letterhead design, flyer design, poster design... I have you covered! I'm an expert print designer in addition to designing websites. Graphic design comes in handy when designing in Wix, as I can design custom icons and graphics for your website, utilizing PNG graphics that have transparencies to create more intriguing and complex designed webpages. I also have a wide variety of stock image and graphic website sources that I use, so if you don't have good images, we can definitely create or find stock images. Using the limited free Wix images provided is not always ideal, as those images are widely used by 1000s of other businesses – it's best to have your own photos, or find good quality stock images that are more unique than you'll find in the Wix media gallery.
